Poorly built 2017 business plan by EUR team for NC operations failed to consider US norms for doing business nor automakers expectations for awarding new business and the plant is struggling to make it as a result. To meet profit objectives for the foreign parent, unrealistic budgets and forecasts are made and plant suffers for not meeting those targets when cash infusions are cut off. Much finger pointing between EUR teams and US teams. It will be impossible to earn bonus compensation with the current plans in effect. Workload and deadlines are not balanced with overseas expectations and there is not enough staff to accomplish the work leading to 16 hour days, some all-nighters, and tear-inducing, relentless attacks by a couple EUR finance execs. Incapable, poor performers are not allowed to be managed and are protected by HR. Ever -changing benefit and time off policies adversely affected employees with some being re-compensated outside the regular channels to make up for it.
