Strong mechanical connection. Good for high-power and high-stress applications. Easier for prototyping and hand assembly.

Slower assembly compared to SMD. Not suitable for very compact circuits.

Learnt a lot of new things and techniques. Good improvement to career.

Some minor things that is there in all companies like work pressure and not able to get holidays during high work loading etc.
