The workload is intense and the pay is low, far below market rate. Within the past year, the workload got significantly higher under new leadership, with no raise in pay. When the amount of work we were expected to complete practically doubled, our manager repeatedly told us it was a "mindset shift." When I mentioned concerns about unrealistic deadlines to my manager, these concerns were later used as reasons my work "needed improvement." After years of excellent feedback on my work, I was suddenly told that I was not meeting expectations and let go shortly after without any type of improvement plan or additional feedback. Many late hours put in with no reward, and the company has no regard for work/life balance.
