Nepotism at it’s core. Leadership hires friends and mutual connections, fueling an exclusive and toxic work environment that does NOT place importance on work ethic and potential; therefore culture does not exist at Truework. As such, there are many poorly-defined roles. The company claims to be a transparent company that fosters growth and collaboration, you can forget about that. 90% of leadership consists of white males. Moreover, the office is predominantly white males. There is little to no diversity within gender or ethnic groups. Leadership abuses that by building a hierarchal, top-down environment. Ironically, leadership believes they are promoting ownership of work when in reality they micromanage heavily. Self-righteousness causes them to be blinded to the fact that their micromanagement crushes morale, trust and teamwork. Zero autonomy in the work you do. Truework values the career growth of the yes man. The only way to be promoted is not through hard work because hard work is not valued or appreciated at Truework. If you’re looking to advance your career or seek any mentorship, look elsewhere. Management is incompetent. First-time founders are inexperienced. Truework is truly nothing but disastrous.
