Vantaggi
I've always been treated with respect, never had any internal issues. Work and Social life balance are easy, all I need to do is ask if I have any issues in life. Mental health and family life are important and respected here very much. There is room to improve and move up the ladder if you have the attitude and work ethics. Every person who I know got promoted deserved it. Great management and Team members, everybody pulls their weight. Very good internal work structure. Daily tasks are easy to manage, with no unnecessary headache and stress anymore* (see why in cons) The whole team really cares about their job and both management and team members have a say so to improve our job quality. My first week at the company and I've been invited to play 5aside football with them weekly, which was and still a lot of fun.
Svantaggi
Salary feels very, very low for what we are doing here and how important we are for the NHS, especially comparing it to other IT jobs, I don't know what is the reason for this as I have 0 insight into this and never really asked to be honest. It took me about a year to get comfortable here. There is a lot to learn, sometimes while you are at the front line against an army of GPs who expect help urgently, which can be very stressful on new staff, but there is no one to blame for this, something simply cannot be taught by training. Need to be persistent for the first year to get learn the whole system inside out.
