Vantaggi
I will start this off by saying the company has not forced employees to write reviews but has just asked to increase their score on glassdoor. The pros of this company are as follows: - good training and support for a low level of entry job, always opportunities to further knowledge especially as a lot of the places we support use different bespoke software - inclusive work environment. I can't speak for the other reviews that speak of racism (as a very white individual) but everyone that i have worked with is friendly and supportive, plus always willing to help.
Svantaggi
- Some company benefits listed aren't really benefits. Like a posh coffee machine or occasional pizza - Pay is relatively low compared to other jobs in the industry, usually only around £1,000 behind other jobs but still enough to make the employees feel as if they are not valued. This is further strengthen by the fact that the Directors are on six figure salarys while the first line team are on around 25,000 - EOT. Becoming an EOT has definitely caused this company to feel a lot more different than before, i know a lot of people would generally prefer a pay increase instead of a maybe for an EOT yearly payout. Which we didn't get this year. - further onto the EOT point, we have a board of trustees and colleague council... which i have not heard hide nor hair from in this year and most of last year. They are supposed to make decisions that benefit employees but never actually ask them what they want? How can a board of trustees or colleague council be trusted if they never give us an update on what they are actually doing and discussing. - trust. With a name like trusted technology, you would think that the employees would he trusted to do their jobs, but sometimes that is not the case. Permissions are removed and sometimes you are constantly fighting to actually get access to something thst you need to do your job.
