This is a wonderful organization I have been able to grow with as it has grown over the past decade. Though the mission and message remain the same, the job tasks and team roles have developed in interesting ways. There is a great sense of community and family here. This team helps to strengthen you professionally and personally, and challenges you to do things with excellence, while also affording you room to try something new without the usual fear of failure. They truly want to see you succeed and they do their best to make sure your skills and talents are a good fit for the role they place you in. Besides the amazing culture, the benefits are AMAZING. I've had jobs in several different industries and these are the best I've ever heard of!

It's not a huge team, so there isn't a lot of opportunity for upward movement (if that's what you're looking for), necessarily; but as the team roles grow with the organization, there are some new horizontal (and even upward, at times) opportunities.

Everything about Truth for Life reflects the high standard set by the teaching and preaching of Alistair Begg - the pastor whose teaching the organization is based upon. There is a professional feel all around. Each of my co-workers reflects a similar mentality and attitude. It is an incredibly professional workplace, filled with people desiring to do the best work they can each and every day. There is a definite culture, and that culture is one of excellence in everything each employee strives to do. It pushes me to be better every day! The compensation, from an IT perspective, is good for non-profit organizations. The benefits are absolutely top notch. The organization desires for employees to have no burden when it comes to healthcare, and to be set up for retirement when the time comes.

The majority of employees work on-site. While they do make efforts to accommodate remote employees, it’s not always seamless. Sometimes I find it challenging to be one of the few remote team members due to the numerous in-person interactions and ongoing activities and my own "fear of missing out"! Traditional career advancement is limited in some departments. However, I’ve observed that several department directors and managers have been promoted internally, which I see as very positive. The organizational culture, at least from my perspective, doesn’t emphasize corporate or organizational ladder climbing. Instead, we all work together toward achieving the organization’s mission, which most employees seem to wholeheartedly believe in.
