Tulsa Public Schools is dedicated to providing the best possible education to the highly varied level of students. The children are in need of great mentors and the rewards of light bulbs and growth seen in them is wonderful. The insurance available is reasonalbe and the attitude toward the family is excellent. Accomidations are made for those with personal or family issues and the resources available are excellent.

Unless you plan to become a teacher ther room for advancment and professional growth are almost non-existant. The Public School system is very seniority based and therefore almost no consideration is given to performance or merit when promotions or new positions are available. The responisibilities will mount when one has shown skill in an area but the compensation does not follow. Additional benefits found in most corporation such as discounts, coverd parking, profit sharing, bonuses and company ownership do not exsit in any way.
