We do not charge any sign-up fees There is absolutely no fee to join Tutorat Pro. The only thing we ask for is a valid background check, just like every tutoring company in Canada. This is a standard safety requirement, not a fee paid to us. 2. There are no penalties for being late We completely understand that life happens. There is no $50 late penalty — this doesn’t exist in any of our policies. We simply expect tutors to communicate when something unexpected comes up. 3. You can stop working with a student at any time Tutors are never “stuck” in a contract. If your availability changes, or if you feel you’re not the right fit for a student, you just let us know and we take care of reassigning the student. There are no consequences or penalties. 4. About pricing and tutor wages The idea that we charge “3x the tutor’s wage” isn’t accurate.
