Little to no training.
You are thrown into the deep end of the pool right off the bat. Not before, though, the CEO tells you about "lengthy training by our team". Blatant lie. Training is, at best, a 3 day course but, in reality, it is a few days in the office, alone, before you're shipped off to a customer as a "specialist".
Abhorrent pay.
As a contractor, you are paid much less than even the worst employees in the industry. You can find yourself working along side someone who does nothing, but is a full employee of the company you're stationed at, and is paid 30%-50% or more than you.
As part of the pay, the food reimbursement is a joke. Covers next to nothing.
Assigned projects are horrible.
Code quality and programming standards are terrible because employees sent by the CEO are presented as specialists when they've just finished the 3 day course. Then, they are given too much to handle which produces wreckless software.
Work life balance is completely one sided. To work. You're unofficially asked to work 11-12 hours and then told it isn't enough. This is done by overwhelming you with responsibilities and told the whole project depends solely on you, including other people's job security. Blatant lies.
