Leadership does not have a well-defined vision, they veer off course incredibly quickly, and are scared to make decisions. Forces managers + eng teams to crunch in order to get the reqs done. Lots of hail mary investments into products that don't even have significant customer adoption. Growth is extremely team-dependent. High-impact work and learning new tools are dependent on your manager. Promotions are impossible if your manager does not like you. Lots of burn out across many orgs due to culture diminishing over the years. Two massive layoffs that cut more than half the company at this point destroyed team morale since explosive covid hiring sprees.
