Vantaggi

You woke up with a lot of good people from different backgrounds

Svantaggi

Working at Tyson was one of the most frustrating experiences of my career. Leadership constantly pushed more responsibility onto me without providing the pay or recognition that should come with it. I was expected to perform production manager-level duties as an assistant, yet not compensated fairly — and in some cases, my subordinates made more annually than I did. Promises of growth and advancement were empty. Management talked about career paths and development but never backed it up with action or support. Instead, they continued to pile on expectations while ignoring fairness. The work-life balance is nonexistent. The long hours and relentless pressure make it nearly impossible to maintain personal well-being. The culture is purely about numbers and production — people are treated as replaceable cogs, not valued team members. If you’re someone who wants to be respected, properly compensated, and have a chance to truly grow in your career, Tyson is not the place. The company will take everything you give and offer little in return

Vantaggi

The company offers great pay for the area.

Svantaggi

The company changed health benefits from BCBS to United health-Poor Provider. Some plants have a toxic work life balance. Expect 6-7 day work week. No OT or consideration for Salary management.
