The coworkers within my branch have been supportive, collaborative, and some of the best people I've had the chance to work with. The sales culture has become increasingly difficult to navigate. What was once a collaborative, team-oriented environment has shifted toward an "everyone for themselves" mentality, creating unnecessary internal competition. As a Client Relationship Consultant, the pressure to constantly produce sales can be mentally exhausting. Even high-performing employees often feel that their efforts are never enough, which can lead to burnout and low morale. Leadership often emphasizes metrics over people, making employees feel more like numbers than valued team members. The customer service aspect of the job is incredibly fulfilling, but the relentless focus on sales goals can overshadow that purpose and ultimately diminish employee satisfaction. At times, working here can feel like trying to earn approval from a parent who is never quite satisfied—no matter how hard you work.
