I really didn't like working at UCLA. HR was abysmal. My healthcare benefits were erroneously terminated without warning while I was pregnant during COVID and there was nearly nothing I could do about it for over a month. During Christmas, when most everyone else I know is getting bonuses and company parties, we were essentially furloughed. You are untethered and irrelevant.
