Lots of benefits to maintain morale including gym access, professional/managerial development programs, etc. Decent pension plan with a 403(b) option. Health, dental, and vision plans are generally lower-cost than in the private sector. Lots of rideshare and public transit options for commuting to campus.

Senior administration seem to be more concerned about the financial bottom line than about certain educational missions. UCLA is a very large organization and can have many cumbersome bureaucracies, depending on the area in which you work. Traffic on/around campus can be atrocious.
