Management is poor and there is no leadership. I don't know UCONN's (Farmington) infection rate, but I assume it's very high. Perhaps that's why they don't share the number in their weekly emails. Due to the lack of leadership, there is no trust, and there is certainly no respect. Hasn't this place ever heard? "A bad system can destroy good people." Management believes they have to project control at all times. Controlling behavior isn't leadership, it's a mental health issue. There is discrimination, name calling, way too much gossip, and way too much unnecessary drama- all of which is the direct cause of ego. They can't keep employees, half the contractors leave before their contracts run up, and the negativity isn't worth the pension after 10 years. Management needs to change. This place will break eventually due to the lack of quality care, and when it does, it won't be pretty.
