USAA has by far the best benefits of any company in San Antonio as they have a 8% 401K Match, three great onsite gyms, 3 Starbucks onsite, and several other work-life balance options. -They have tuition reimbursement as many there have started "on the phones," and then gotten degrees and moved up -This is certainly the place if you do not have a degree and want to build from the ground up or if you have worked at one of the bigger banks and are simply done with it all and want to leave @5 to watch your kids' T-ball game. This is not the place if you are a younger worker who is trying to make a name for yourself.

USAA has by far the benefits of any company in San Antonio: This has actually created a culture where no one wants to take any accountability, take a leadership stand, and creates a situation where employees expect to be promoted on tenure instead of actual accomplishment. Since it is the best company to work for in San Antonio, if you lose your job with USAA, there is literally no where else to go, so you have all of these extremely passive employees who engage in endless meetings with no real resolutions -The senior leadership is beyond political, as the company operates more like a quasi governmental entity that an actual for profit company -Your starting salary is really hard to move up from as they only do percentage increases with a maximum of 10% at a time. In addition, there is no performance bonus, only a company wide performance bonus, so there is really no incentive for going the extra mile
