      Uber is no doubt an interesting company. A day does not go by without Uber in the news.

      Uber is an extremely frustrating place to work (The honeymoon period wears off pretty quickly). The company has the money and the brand to attract the best in terms of engineering but for whatever reason the product and engineering orgs leave so much to be desired (and I am not even in engineering!) All too frequently it seems the company runs into painful outages, bugs, broken tools, etc that negatively impacts employees and users. Everything seems to be tested in production. The company doesn't know what a staging environment is.

      Hi - thank you for your review. We're focused on continuing to raise the bar of the talent we bring on board across the company. While we know the importance of shipping our product quickly and efficiently, it's equally important to have the infrastructure and systems in place to keep our products stable and reliable, at all times.       The hours are much longer than any other job I've worked in, but this is expected to change as we continue hiring more help
