Vantaggi
The UiPath automation platform is very solid, always evolving and it’s fun to be at the forefront of emerging tech. Great benefit package (health options + wellness/fitness monthly benefit). Excellent sales tech stack, one of the best I’ve seen so far. Many fellow employees are amazing people and it’s been a pleasure to work with them.
Svantaggi
Unfortunately, things have changed since the IPO and not for the better. * The culture has declined. Influx of Dell/EMC leadership and ex-employees have brought the worst aspects of their culture along with them (e.g. toxic politics). Micromanagement and too much time wasted on doing admin work that takes away from time selling. Lots of favoritism that affects career progression. Cringeworthy handling of the seemingly random termination of a tenured employee and changing story / making excuses as to why when the real story seems to be purely political. * Compensation for employees who joined pre-IPO isn't competitive per the market and no plans have been announced to change that, despite repeated requests and feedback. In the end, equity for most people in the company is not enough reason to stay when there's job offers that are 50-100% more than current comp. * Lack of pay transparency and pay bands. People in the same role are paid very differently and also told not to talk about it. Certain leadership believe that talking about compensation is a 'fireable offense'. The National Labor Relations Act says that illegal. * It's also bad business practice to terminate employees AND not pay out the two weeks after they give a notice out of professionalism and respect. But if anything, that is another example that shows how leadership truly feels about their teams beneath them.
