A 9-year-old Company, working as a startup in a bad shape. People take pride in working and making people work 24x7 because they can't decide on an estimated delivery date for development. When complained about, they have a standard reply "everyone is working round-the-clock", No! you are not supposed to do that, you need to take care of your employe and make proper plans and scrum cycles. Making people deliver quickly leads to error-prone code with lots of hacks. Upper management will not motivate you to write clean code and provide some time to work on the fix rather they want you to deliver within hours and max a day doesn't matter what is the issue or error. Various teams do not work in co-operation to resolve an issue rather people will take time to blame who was suppose to do what, as roles are not defined properly and even management is not sure about the divisions of the task, so everything falls to the solution engineer. TPMs are nowhere close to technical, not sure what is this designation and why they are anyway different from the CSM, a simple dashboard setup to submit an API need to be done by engineers. CSMs are not sure what is the product and how it is working even for simple interaction they need an engineer on call, they don't need to check with the manager if the resource has the bandwidth or not, yeah because why a person will be busy at midnight. CX engineering team never gets to interact with CTO, he shows zero interest in the team and never bothers to check if the team needs anything. Hackathons will be arranged which will run for weeks, trying to finish pending support team work in name of the Hackathon, lamest thing anyone can think of. The manager is too busy to deal with upper management and never interact on the ground level, there are so many plans made and not a single one executed in the time required. No transparency in communication. HR is just to ask you if you are available for conducting interviews and nothing else, you will interact with them in the beginning or leaving the company no interaction in between. No work life balance.

1) Good market - ecommerce search is a large market 2) Good traction - company has grown over the past 2 years

1) Recently lots of senior management and overall employee have come from Akamai and there is extreme partiality towards them. New COO is from Akamai and is comfortable with only people he has worked with in the past. Does not trust old employees who have delivered constantly for so many years 2) Founders have given up on the company. No longer have an opinion or say in company decisions. Blindly following what new Akamai employees are saying 3) No respect for paying bonuses on time. Keep making excuses. Losing ethical value
