- A probationary period of 90 days: meaning that you cannot request a day off, lateness is monitored and barely tolerated, no health insurance, also no extra PTO (paid time off) days for working minor holidays. - 30 minute lunch breaks, tough when you do not bring a packed lunch. - Working 30-60 days in succession, without a day off is common. - Multiple departments often need to occupy the same aisles as each other, leading to a general inefficiency in all those involved. - A computer controlled conveyor system runs throughout the warehouse, which often breaks/stalls which brings all departments to a crawl. - If working in departments that utilize industrial equipment, be prepared for daily equipment break downs and a general shortage of availability. - Under Armour has a massive temp employee population working in their distribution house, a edge against layoffs, but most seem unmotivated. - Communication with non-english speaking temp employees is difficult. - Safety equipment is generally adequate, but condition is generally awful. - There is no heating/AC in the warehouse. - Parking is a minor issue. - Bathrooms are just awful.
