Vantaggi

Great Product but slowly falling behind. The staff is truly hard-working. Most employees come from the service industry.

Svantaggi

Leadership has no grasp on engagement and keeping their employees motivated. Organization is ran like a company would in the past. (Yelling and cursing is the management style). They do not value or coach their employees. Since December 2015 - 9 people have left UniFocus and only 1 of them was allowed to work out their 2 weeks when offered. They will not pay you 2 weeks if you offer. Most if not all employees are bullied and work in fear of losing their job. This company spends 50% of it's week in meetings. (Meetings to have Meetings)

I do not find it weird that there are multiple 5 star reviews on that same day. I recall the day very clearly when we actually noticed Glassdoor and saw that there were reviews from former employees. Everyone in our department saw them and many of them took it upon themselves to add reviews to show how someone who is still working here feels about the organization. I know the individuals who provided those reviews and they did so because they truly love working here. It is one thing to see reviews from people who left, because they likely left for a reason other than being content. It is another thing to see reviews from the many people who still work here. Although It is heart wrenching to see poor reviews as I know how much we as managers put into the welfare of the associates we work with and lead, the bottom line is that I am comfortable that from the top down the management truly cares about the success of this company and the success of its employees. As for the yelling and cursing, it is clear that you are referring to the CEO, who I have heard yell on a couple of occasions myself. I know him well enough to know that it is because he is extremely engaged. Having owned businesses myself, I can understand why his level of energy and emotion can go over the top sometimes. He is vested...and I would challenge anyone else here who is vested to not show or feel emotion when you have the livelihood of so many people in your hands. As for the two week notice, I am definitely going to argue that this is on a case by case basis and is more position dependent. I have had a few employees provide their notice to me and I have done nothing but wish them the best and accept their resignation with grace. They worked out their 2 weeks and did an excellent job in transitioning their responsibilities. On one occasion an individual gave notice that I knew was a risk so I let that person go immediately. That being said, it is clear you left for a reason and that there are possibly others who feel the same way. Everyone in management is committed to resolving these difficulties and we will take this advice seriously...and in fact already have as we are in the process of refining our initiatives to create a much more directed and impactful world class approach. Thank you for the honest feedback and best of luck in your next venture.
