Growing company with great client relationship, which allows for an exceptional work environment.

New parent company is still working on getting footing and not doing well with employee relations.

The pay was really good but once you entered at that pay there was no opportunity for a raise. I loved some of the people I worked with but they all too felt this job is just a stepping stone.

As a contractor for Elanco the first thing you hear is, "remember, you are not looked down upon by Elanco employees." But that's a joke. You really feel like a second class citizen there and (not all) but most of the Elanco employees will let you know you are lesser than them. I came from a job that was very team-oriented and would help out in any area needed but this place was cut-throat. As soon as an Elanco employee didn't like you they were out for blood to get you fired. And Unison, they didn't have your back. They would just let you go. As far as the management, the CFO was amazing but unfortunately not on property representation. It felt very much like a high school with all of the gossiping and talk that happened and the HR Manger being right in the middle of it all. When I was first hired, there was no training whatsoever. I am sink or swim kind of guy so had no problem finding my way but many didn't; and instead of guidance they would just get rid of you. Many people were favored more than others and would be allowed to work from home while other people weren't even though they had same positions. It was just a very stressful job worrying about making everyone happy instead of worrying about doing a great job for what you were hired for to work there.
