The other half haven’t ventured out much from the Mid-West and are archaic in their treatment of employees. There is nothing resembling a team there. This company has the potential to excel in areas other CROs cannot, but the management are so unyielding, look down about CRAs who somehow do not conform to their standards and basically want a mid-west cookie cutter CRA who doesn’t question how over why things are done. Just an awful place to work

Extremely good team culture. Everyone is helpful and forthcoming. Focused on patient care. Flexible time off. Fully remote and cameras off. Defined process for the most important processes. Amazing how so many people have been with UBC for 10+ years.

Potential to overwork oneself with back to back to back meetings and heavy client workload.

HR is NOT your Friend‼️ Micromanagement Always Changing Abuse of Power Biased You’ll stay in your current role for years without a promotion. UBC proves that Women of Color does have to work 5x harder to be recognized. They offer yearly bonuses but you’ll never see it because every year they’ll come up with some excuse. You’re yearly raises will never be over or near 50 cent so you’ll stay in the same dollar amount for at least three/four years. I’d you try to transfer to another program they’ll write you up and keep you in the same position and program. EEOC ASAP
