Management are friends outside of work, major conflict of interest. Cannot go to manager with anything without it probably being repeated. People have gone to them with serious concerns, they did nothing. Supervisors never lift a finger to help teams - management said that supervisors are only required to put in 8 hours per month with their teams. Some supervisors do not even know how to do any of the tasks of the teams they are managing, even after years they have not sat down to train on actual tasks. Supervisors have also stated that working OT with their teams is considered “donating their time”. Constant pushing of new rules and tasks that should be considered supervisory tasks, employees must complete everything urgently, no extra pay for making workflows or doing all the training. Every task is considered more urgent than the next with management doing nothing to help. Good employees keep leaving due to management, HR and ops manager pretend to listen to concerns but no actions are taken. Supervisors are quick to throw employees under the bus to upper management when the issue was their own fault to begin with. Management reviews and employee engagement surveys have been completed by multiple teams with these concerns, nothing ever addressed. I know of employees who brought 10 pages of complaints compiled from entire teams into their exit interviews. Seems everything falls on deaf ears. We are completely replaceable and it feels almost like upper management are getting together to laugh about us during their all day every day meetings. Everyone is exhausted and overwhelmed. Some of the hardest working people don’t get any recognition. Some of us found out the company is giving out bonuses to some teams and not others, which is a slap in the face when you’re putting in 10 hour days at times. Didn’t even get raises this past year despite working exorbitant amounts of overtime hours. Pay isn’t great for the insane amount of work that must be completed. Harsh deadlines that can never be met while juggling a million tasks at the same time while also trying to train new people and create documents for supervisors to use in their meetings because they have to keep relying on staff for information because they simply won’t take the time to learn any work whatsoever. Everyone - EVERYONE - is at their wit’s end, and if you speak up for yourself or try to question things there is hostility and defensive behavior, often followed by sudden attempts to get you in trouble. Absolutely corrupt at the top, I know of at least 6 people who have tried to report everything (massive list of concerns) and nothing ever changes, supervisors still continue to be employed and continue to act chummy together while rarely having any involvement with their own teams. I can tell you that almost every single person in support services is currently looking for a new job. Company does NOT practice values in action with their own employees.
