The team at Unity Eye Centers is a wonderful group to work with. Everyone works hard, understands their roles, and collaborates well, creating a supportive and efficient environment. The practice does an excellent job of staying current with the latest trends and technology in the eyecare industry, which makes it an exciting place to learn and grow professionally. The providers are truly exceptional — they care deeply about their patients and also value and respect their staff. Overall, Unity Eye Centers offers a positive workplace culture with strong teamwork, great leadership, and a shared commitment to delivering high-quality care.

They partnered with a larger corporation, which took away some of the perks of being a private clinic. I understand from a business perspective why this partnership was important though. Along with joining the larger corporation came constant change, which is great to keep up with the ever evolving industry, but can lead to change fatigue for staffing.

Unity was a good place to work before merging with a management called bridge view. After that it went downhill very fast. There is zero communication about what is happening or to come with the office changes just pop up on a whim. Raises are a joke the lowest only getting .40 something cents after working your tail off. They push so many responsibilities on you that are out of the scope of your job description and don’t listen when you tell them it is too much. Very very poor management and work environment. The negativity from all employees is a lot but working under those conditions I would be negative as well. If for some reason you have to call out due to a sick child or other personal reasons they are extremely rude and not understanding at all. Have not had a manager for the clinical team in half a year due to her helping another location while we are struggling. Very much would find a new place to apply.
