Pretty good PTO and ok health insurance.

Constant change and uprooting, severe lack of training and accountability. We cut a huge chunk of our sales department for no good reason. Anyone who disagrees with Apollo's "vision" has been cut. People who have worked here for 10+ years, down the toilet. CEO David Jukes says one thing, does another. When called out, he mocks his employees and gives them the finger. Oh, but we support the LGBT community, so there's that. No plans to cut DEI.

We are aware of a social media post making the false claim that our CEO made a purposely inappropriate gesture toward employees during a recent town hall meeting. We want to clearly state that this did not happen. The town hall was focused on our shift to a three-day in-office schedule, aimed at fostering stronger culture, collaboration, and connection across our teams. We understand that changes to the way we work can cause reactions, and we are committed to having those conversations respectfully and constructively. We encourage open dialogue and welcome feedback from our employees. It’s important to us that everyone feels heard and valued as we move forward together. It is also important to note: • During an all-employee town hall, the Univar Solutions CEO used non-verbal gestures to highlight points to a verbal message. • One of the topics for the all-employee town hall was to share that the company is moving from a 2 day in-office schedule to a 3 day in-office schedule. • No offensive non-verbal or verbal language was used. • The all-employee town hall was recorded so there is video evidence to support our statement.

The role builds resilience quickly and provides strong experience in account management, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. There is a high level of ownership in day-to-day responsibilities, which can accelerate skill development for those who are self-driven.

Since the acquisition by Apollo, the work environment has noticeably declined. While new processes were introduced, leadership often did not take the time to fully understand or follow them, creating confusion and inconsistency across teams. Employees who raised questions or tried to improve processes were not always received positively, which discouraged feedback and innovation. There is also a lack of alignment between departments, leading to inefficiencies, miscommunication, and added pressure on employees managing critical accounts. Workloads are frequently excessive without adequate support, contributing to burnout and turnover. Compensation does not consistently reflect the level of responsibility and workload expected, which further impacts morale and retention. Overall, the organization feels reactive rather than structured, and direction has become increasingly unclear.
