Senior management culture that consolidates all power and decision making in their hands and treats those at lower grades than them with contempt. Those who are the chosen few can progress but everybody else is bulled into silence or until they quit. Last minute chaotic decision making based on flimsy evidence. Always seem to try and push staff goodwill to see what they can get away with. Feels like it's becoming a cult around the ideological instincts of the vice chancellor and if you don't buy into his vision they don't want you here.
