Basically, after only coding for 2hrs after orientation, the next day at 10am 7 reviewers get called into the office one at a time to be browbeaten about their numbers. The coders explain that the documents are large and that they need more time since they are doing priv log plus at least 5 fields on the coding. One person threatens to quit. That afternoon they talk to all of us and say sorry about the stress and that they looked over the documents and agree that we must focus on accuracy and not numbers. That night they fire one of the people (not the one that threatened to quit). Third day they call in a reviewer about his numbers and that they are low. Reviewer explains that they said to focus on accuracy and that the stress levels are too high. They have a meeting with him later and say that the environment is going to change and to please stay and give it a shot. That they have learned their lessons. Subsequently, one day later, that reviewer is fired. These people have no word- you can't have your phone on you in the review room and they will browbeat you for no reason and fire you while lying to your face.
