For me location was great and I was really excited about working for a company that was expanding and in a very solid industry. This was going to be a great opportunity to get a smaller IT shop moved into an agile environment.

The management (Projects/IT) says they are going agile, but they are very far from being agile and also very closed minded toward agile processes. The are very engrained in old ways of project management. As I began to implement agile methods it became very clear that they were not accepted by management. Instead of trying to understand agile, they just wanted to be called agile even though they were still a PMO. Since I was still trying to push agile I was let go. Be very careful if you are looking for an agile workplace, this is not it.
