-No PTO/vacation time -Health insurance isn't the best -Sometimes they hire too many people so there are no jobs available -sometimes you have to work with other upshifters that can be annoying, rude, and lazy -when you cancel a shift a few days in advance, it hurts your overall score which can result in companies not picking you for the shift -sometimes you have to get last min work by staring at the app and refreshing it all day -the schedule you want may not be available so sometimes your sleep schedule is all over the place
