Upstream was once a great company to work for, but the new CEO is entirely too focused on expansion while at the same time implementing a corporate hiring freeze. The workload is growing extremely quickly with opening of clinics and acquisition of other companies, and they are not hiring the staff needed to support the work. Employees at the corporate level (legal, accounting, business licensing, accounts payable etc) are saddled with workloads that are not sustainable while the company continues to expand and grow entirely too top-heavy. The general opinion is that CEO and top management are gaining wealth while support staff struggle to stay afloat and hardly ever see raises.
