Every other thing is a con - Worst management (There is a manager whom I worked with and has really bad attitude and shows a huge partiality among developers) - 0 work life balance - They would be expecting u to work even on Saturdays & Sundays - Appraisal partiality as well - No transparency about any of the company financial details or etc - Worst product management 🤮 - Worst sales team - Because of no sales and the exitings of current customers, Layoffs started every quarter - After every layoff, CEO & CPO will be setting a Condolence meetings and will put a statement that we are doing really great and there won't be anymore layoffs. They say this thing every time the layoffs happens 🙄

When I started, Uptycs' marketing department was a powerhouse full of really sharp people who were excellent at their jobs and doing phenomenal work. That was the one big "pro." Shortly thereafter, word came down from the CEO that we needed to focus on areas that had generated business in the past, but which was doing nothing for the company at the time. Long story short, we wasted months on micro-management assignments that brought in zero business while neglecting our own CMO's plans. Eventually, the CEO got fed up and started firing everyone without notice: unprofessionalism ruled the day from beginning to end.

At the highest levels, Uptycs is run by an insiders' group who prioritize micro-management over all else. The relationship between the CEO and c-level employees should be one of mutual respect, not an opportunity to run departments like marketing into the ground on wild goose chases that do nothing for the business.
