Vantaggi
Didn't have time for the pros, they let me go in less than a month without a warning or a cause (and I have quit my job to work for Userlytics).
Svantaggi
They opened an entry-level AE position for the US market, the process was quick and it took 2 weeks to get an offer. I left my job to start working at Userlytics, The salary was way below the market in the US, but I accepted as I believed and they sold me that I would have room for growth, I would have time to learn about the UX industry and possibly move to the Account Manager role once I absorbed everything. Unfortunately just lies, not even a month after I started the CEO scheduled a call with me saying I didn't have the right skill set for the position, and told me they were discontinuing my contract, without any warning or notice period, brutal. I didn't even have the chance to show my skills. Taking no accountability for their poor decisions and putting them fully on my back who trusted them. I was using my equipment for work and on top my manager told me that I needed to get AirPods cos they didn't like AEs to have meetings with wired headphones, so ofc I bought new Airpods (which I asked them to refund me and they didn't). I should have asked for at least a one-year guarantee as I was leaving a sure thing. In case you do the same, ask leadership, if is there a scenario where they terminated without cause before one year of employment. I suggest negotiating a severance in advance that guarantees a year of income regardless of when they let you go in that first year. If it were a possibility to even be considered for a termination in the first year, would you consider taking the job? I would not.
