Management should provide interns with regular feedback and clear communication regarding their performance and future opportunities within the organization. After working hard throughout an internship, receiving a termination or closing letter without prior feedback or notice can be difficult and discouraging. A more transparent process would help interns better understand their performance and areas for improvement.
