What I though I knew about equipment was eclipsed by this place. If you are motivated, you will learn so much about any market you'd like whether it be AV, broadcast, touring, etc.
The company is always leading in technology and has enough purchasing power to sway the industry. A majority of the engineers are really bright and motivated to help you. You have all technical resources a phone call or email away.
You will speak to more people than you could imagine. If you like to network, you will do well.
You will be taught about logistics whether you like it or not.
If you thought you were busy, this place will take you to whole new level of prioritizing.

If you're good at what you do, you will be punished. Moving into new positions be it vertically or horizontally is difficult. As a result burn out is easy in the busier markets.
It is more likely that they will hire outside than to tap within.
In addition, the human resources is a joke and consequentially the culture of the company is corrupt. There aren't many places to turn if you feel disgruntled, especially with your own management.
Speaking of management, most positions of any power seem to be self anointed. The liberation of title is a double edge sword to most.
Despite being family business, the nepotism and, more so, the cronyism is still a real thorn in everyone's side.
