For me personally, the job was related to my degree path and I have gotten to meet some interesting people.

VFS senior management has no regard whatsoever for its staff. We enrollment officers are never able to take our lunches because the quantity of applicants and often have to stay past 7 at night. Even though this should be overtime, senior management has found some loophole so that staff almost never gets overtime unless we stay until some ridiculous hour like 10 at night. Not to mention that, given that we are overbooked with applicants, we get significant heat from applicants upset with the wait even though we clearly do not have the manpower to take their appointments in an appropriate timely manner. Anyone with a college degree and other options should know that they can do better than a company like this which works employees like mules.

if you cannot speak hindi then you will not excel in this company, the company has hired south Asians only, most of the higher managers are on H1B visas, very much toxic work environment where the managers are expected to work on weekends and holidays.
