Vantaggi
- You will learn how not to run a company.
- Good place if you enjoy politics more than actual work.
Svantaggi
(Read carefully before applying):
This company runs on exploitation disguised as “learning.” Interns are treated like full-time staff — same workload, same pressure, zero boundaries — but paid intern wages. Cheap labour is clearly part of the business model.
Compensation is insulting. Management expects top-tier results, total commitment, and constant availability, yet offers salaries as low as RM2,500. The workload and expectations are completely disconnected from the pay. Hard work is demanded, not rewarded.
Leadership under CEO lacks balance and accountability. Decisions are often made based on one-sided narratives, favoritism, and loyalty rather than facts or performance. If you are not part of the preferred circle, your voice does not matter.
This is a culture where performance alone is never enough. You can deliver excellent results consistently, but if you do not “market yourself” or align with the right people, your career will go nowhere. Merit is secondary to politics.
Credit stealing is normalised. Team members do the work, management takes the recognition. Contributions are rarely acknowledged fairly, and ownership of work is routinely taken by those higher up.
Most senior figures are not strong operators — they are strong at pleasing the CEO. Competence takes a back seat to flattery. This creates weak leadership and a toxic, insecure management layer.
Company policies exist only on paper. Rules are enforced selectively. If you are favoured, violations are ignored. If you are not, every clause in the handbook can suddenly be weaponised against you.
Workload is extreme and unsustainable. Multiple roles are pushed onto single individuals without proper support, manpower, or compensation. Burnout is treated as normal rather than a failure of management.
Concerns about workplace misconduct and inappropriate behaviour are not handled with transparency or seriousness. Employees are discouraged — directly or indirectly — from raising issues, creating a culture of silence and fear.
Overall, this is not a professional environment. It is a political one.
