Cheap labour is clearly part of the business model. Compensation is insulting. Management expects top-tier results, total commitment, and constant availability, yet offers salaries as low as RM2,500. The workload and expectations are completely disconnected from the pay. Hard work is demanded, not rewarded. Leadership under CEO lacks balance and accountability. Decisions are often made based on one-sided narratives, favoritism, and loyalty rather than facts or performance. If you are not part of the preferred circle, your voice does not matter. This is a culture where performance alone is never enough. You can deliver excellent results consistently, but if you do not “market yourself” or align with the right people, your career will go nowhere. Merit is secondary to politics. Credit stealing is normalised. Team members do the work, management takes the recognition. Contributions are rarely acknowledged fairly, and ownership of work is routinely taken by those higher up.
