VIP is truly different and better than their competition. VIP has a promote from within culture. Many of our support staff were individuals who were promoted from within the company rather than being hired from the outside. We have a career pathing outline to help our employees earn promotions. We are in the relationship business. VIP whole heartedly believes in being as transparent and into developing a relationship with their customers. It's all about informing and educating customers about their vehicle. Bringing our customers into the shop to meet the technician and show them the condition of their vehicle to build trust. The senior leadership encourages their open door policy. They take a vested interest in their employees. Every year senior leadership takes over a month out of their schedule to meet with every employee to talk about the company and to listen to the team members to see where we can improve as a company. Many changes and improvements have come directly out of these meetings. VIP began a tool box program for our entry level technicians, a safety boot allowance program, decreased store hours, more days off, increased vacation time, and many other items.
