Svantaggi
-After teaching over 500 classes with this company, I was terminated early for 5 negative comments on my teaching style, 3 of which were from the same parent who booked 4 classes to be taught within the matter of 48 hours. VIPKID has a rating system where parents are able to put 1-5 stars for a teachers performance. You are unable to know these ratings, but from what I have heard you can expect that a decline in student bookings could be a result from this. I taught over 60+ classes per week and not once did a see an available slot not filled for a lesson by a student. Prior to receiving a letter of termination, I had tried to get into contact with the Education department on how to better my teaching techniques and before I got a response, I was terminated. After trying to get in contact with the education department to get a full understanding of my termination.I was never contacted with a full explanation or compensated for the $250+ of equipment and teaching tools that are necessary for this position. This company has too many people working on their side of IT/teaching issues and you can get different answers from a variety of representatives for the same question. There is a teachers forum that is monitored through the main page, and I never had any issues compared to what many teachers have faced; which is why I was so surprised by this abrupt letter. Confused and Heartbroken, VIPKID does a terrible job of communicating with their teachers leaving them without the decency to even send an email back.
