In a pandemic, VITAC left us to fend for ourselves - Recensione dipendente - Dipendente anonimo presso VITAC

I am appalled by the way VITAC has left us to fend for ourselves during this pamdemic. Almost immediately, VITAC sent almost every person in the building to work from home, especially higher ups, including our IT department. They have left their in-house captioners and real time services team to fend for ourselves. They have done the bare minimum for us all the while emailing us to say we are all in this together. We are expected to clean the office ourselves. We were told the building would be disinfected, especially high traffic areas. No one has been disinfecting but us, as we took it upon ourselves. The entire company has been working from home for a month, and they still haven't figured out how to get the online department to work from home. They tried something, I didn't work, and they will try again NEXT week they said. (It is Tuesday the 7th of April) We have around 15-20 employees every shift when PA has stated you should not have groups of ten or more. We are risking our lives for our company and our company does not seem to care. Meanwhile, our VITAC counterparts in Colorado always work from home. We do the same job. VITAC does not care about the health and safety of my family at this time.
