Vantaggi
- Vox is a great place to grow or launch your career in professional/tech consulting. Vox employees are constantly pushed for growth by learning new concepts and products. Weekly consultant training/sessions are held to support and encourage learning from each other. While at Vox, I have met some talented and experienced professionals whom I have constantly kept in touch with for professional/technical advice.
- Vox gives you tons of freedom to voice out concerns or ideas for improvement. Management makes it a point to make employees feel that they are stakeholders.
- Vox's company culture is not for everyone but employees treat each other like family. Management always makes it to a point to share good news and spread positivity/achievements.
- Vox just recently rolled out a Health Benefits package so I'm definitely excited for that.
- Work is fully remote which means you don't have to endure traffic or bad weather. Another advantage is you don't have to dress up when you work from home - so definitely saving you money buying clothes.
Svantaggi
- Work is fully remote so you might feel lonely at times. (Word of advice: Get a pet)
- Vox operates always at peak capacity so finding someone to talk to or has the time to might prove difficult sometimes.
- Early mornings, Long hours, occasional weekends depending on the season and workload
- Vox is not for the faint of heart. Consulting (as a whole) is a very demanding job.
- Some things you will have to learn by doing it yourself
- Constantly learning (which is needed to stay sharp as a consultant) which you may have to do outside of normal working hours
- Salary is okay, not high, not low - but always could be better :)
(Note: I have based this opinion on the current job market and other people's salary in the industry).
