DO NOT BOTHER APPLYING TO THIS COMPANY FOR A U.S. POSITION. Vade let almost their entire US team go (they kept a skeletal crew of < 5 people) when covid hit. we were all let go on April 1; unfortunately 'April Fools Day' is not celebrated in France because the irony was completely lost on them. 2 days notice, NO severance, NO benefits, nothing. Going into a pandemic.. oh wait, we got to keep our laptops (thanks...). NO class whatsoever. i now understand that the US team was not coming even close to covering its own costs after more than 5 years here and that France was looking for a way to pull out. Claiming 'financial hardship' was the perfect opportunity and they executed it with precision. When management was asked if they had applied for a government load to aid and keep everybody onboard, you could only hear crickets. i SERIOUSLY doubt their commitment to making their solution work here in the states, and can speak directly to how much they respect and value their US employees. Zero. They could never pull this stunt in France, and they know it. Oh yeah, they are also getting sued by Proofpoint for stealing intellectual property. go figure.

We are surprised by the content of your post, by this misreading of the reality which is not that reflected by our employees in the United States. The Covid19 related health and financial crisis had a strong and sudden impact on Vade Secure and we were keen to manage this situation in the best possible way given the context and the situation of our teams around the world. Contrary to your statements, we have used all the levers, including US government aid to retain most of our team and maintain our activity in the United States for which we have invested heavily in recent years and which is our dear and this in order to allow us to bounce back as soon as the situation allows. We can fully understand your disappointment and frustration, but we cannot accept your disparagement and contemptuous behavior, which is the opposite of the values ​​carried by our company and its ethical principles.
