The department I work in has great people trying to do the best they can in this environment. It is remote work with set schedules (no flexibility).

Although they speak of growth and opportunities, very little encouragement or opportunities are truly given. Valeris is a newly merged company of two previous competitors. There is an inflexibility in the structure of the company that does not promote upward mobility or growth despite them saying they do. Most people remain in their hired positions even if they apply internally for other positions. Also, as the merger comes along, the changes are not for the best of the employees. Benefits like PTO and health insurance have been reduced.

There’s a clear focus on improving processes, building capability, automation and driving more strategic partnership with the business. It is a very exciting time. The team is collaborative, pragmatic, and aligned on delivering results in a dynamic environment. We also are very collaborative and support each other and has lots of FUN!!

Great coworkers and great pay

This company is the perfect example of how not to do a merger; they have no idea what to do or what roles to prioritize. Constant contradiction of policies. Supervisors are catty and have unrealistic expectations. The pay is good until you realize you’re being paid to get abused. My role itself was a joke. ‘Senior Patient Navigator’, more like ‘Call Center Agent’. The company does NOT care about you and will throw you under the bus any chance they get. Super high turnover with everyone leaving as soon as they can to find something better.
