I worked with the organization for over five years, and what was once a promising place to work has turned into a textbook example of how poor leadership can destroy employee morale and culture. The company’s top management—especially at the CXO and executive levels—is deeply entangled in politics, favoritism, and sycophancy. Decisions are driven by personal biases rather than logic, data, or performance. The so-called accidental “President,” who has no prior business experience or leadership background, treats CXOs and Experienced Leaders like slaves. These CXOs, in turn, blindly follow his directives and call them “management decisions.” Sales teams across Asia Pacific, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the U.S. are under immense pressure and frustration. The sales leadership lacks even basic commercial understanding but takes full credit for the team’s hard work. When results don’t meet unrealistic expectations, they shift the blame to their teams—labeling competent professionals as underperformers. The upper management, driven by favoritism and prejudice, takes action without verifying facts. This toxic cycle has already led to many resignations and it will go on. Favoritism, judgmental behavior, and a complete lack of trust in the sales organization are deeply rooted problems here. If you are a sycophant, you’ll rise quickly—sometimes within a month. But if you are skilled, hardworking, and believe in merit over manipulation, you’ll regret joining.
