Vantaggi
-Excellent Training - There is so much training you can invest your time in, both classroom and self study -Excellent Benefits - Especially the 401(k) if you plan to stay long enough to become vested - Unlimited access to tea and coffee - A glowing sense of self satisfaction knowing you work for the best investment option for clients (who already know what they're doing), if you're into that kind of thing
Svantaggi
- No Chance To Use Training - Despite the abundance of training, you are rarely given a chance to use much of it as a majority of positions are redundant - No Time for the Training - The company many times cancels training classes since they are not staffed for heavier phone traffic - The company only has three locations (PA,NC and AZ) but the main branch in PA treats the other two sites like unwanted step children. AZ in particular is limited due to the time zone and the limited number of departments there. It seems an incompetent glad hand in PA has a better chance of succeeding then a stud in AZ. - You are surrounded by middle aged people who have either flew too close to the sun and are now shell shocked into mediocrity or carnie folk who are self actualized being a cube zombie. These same people try to convert you into a complacent drone by telling you, "Well, at least you have a job" and "You are so lucky you found Vanguard at a young age."
