Strangest Company I have ever worked for - Recensione dipendente - Executive presso Vantage Labs

Coming from enterprise companies previously this was one of my first times with a start-up. I can feel the impact I am making here. The products are interesting and I like my team because they encourage my creativity.

Sometimes it feels like processes are not fully built out.

The only positive that I can share about working at Vantage Labs is the opportunity to have worked remotely.

They have no concern for you as a person to show respect for your time and life outside of work. The expectation was to travel with minimal notice, whether you had prior commitments or other responsibilities. I was told that there would be no issue providing 3 to 4 weeks notice ahead of travel when hired. Also, I basically received no support to set me up for success. My manager did not have any one on one meetings with me in my first year to support me with my direction and strategy while launching a new market. I often did not receive returned emails. I repeatedly shared that the continued feedback was that this new vertical does not have the money for the product. This fell onto deaf ears unfortunately.
