Vantaggi
The silver lining in this challenging work environment is the presence of some genuinely good people with whom you can form connections, albeit sometimes through shared experiences of navigating the toxic culture. On the positive side, the compensation is quite competitive, and the five-day workweek with strict hours allows for a good work-life balance.
Svantaggi
The systems in place are far from matured, making it exceedingly difficult to accomplish tasks efficiently. It seems that management values people-pleasing personalities more than actual job performance. Many employees display a strong reluctance to work, frequently procrastinating and slowing down productivity. The working culture here is extremely toxic, characterized by constant shouting and nagging to meet unrealistic deadlines set by demanding managers. Authority is concentrated in the hands of a single person, resulting in a stifling monopoly within the organization. Perhaps the most disheartening aspect is how people's worst behavior comes to light when you announce your resignation. During the notice period, they become defensive, rude, and unapproachable, making the 90-day period feel like an ordeal. It makes you question why you joined Varroc in the first place. Overall, my experience here has been quite negative due to these issues. This organization has a serious issue with misogyny and sexism, as some individuals openly oppose hiring women, claiming it would improve productivity. This attitude is deeply problematic.
