      This company finances the lab very well, resourcing good scientists and allowing for the decisions that are made to be a) what is best for the quality of testing and b) what will the actual ground level employees (as described by us). The culture is one of teamwork and the team has grown into a true community of givers. That said- takers need not apply as that type of attitude is not tolerated. Our team really looks out for each other and enjoy spending time with each other. Veracyte has won "Best of the Bay Area" places to work multiple times, as rated by it's own employees, and that's no accident! We are very proud of our company culture and invest in our teams.

      As with any lab using automated systems, recovery from failures in those systems can be frustrating.

      I feel like the company genuinely cares about its people and patients. The work is fast-paced, rewarding, and the people who work here are incredibly smart and talented. Great benefits and competitive pay. Everyone here works hard but is fun and a genuinely nice person. The company is growing quickly and has a lot of potential, which is exciting to be a part of.

      - Benefits- especially PTO and Holidays. We have a very generous package. I hope it never changes. Human Resources do what they do and are very communicative and listen to your concerns. They interact professionally and actually help to improve those issues. Management takes time to help improve the workplace by communicating and implementing some changes. They have a very generous open door policy’s. Work life balance is awesomez
