"The running joke around here is your company never does XXXX right" is actually a frequent saying from Verathon's customers and it's embarrassing. No one knows how anything gets done because of all lost knowledge when people quit. From top to bottom the majority people at HQ have been employed for less than 2 years. Since the beginning of 2018 over 90 people have left the company. Here's why: The culture is toxic with absolutely no accountability for mistakes or impact on other departments. This becomes the place where you won't try your hardest because it's impossible to outweigh the negligence and mismanagement of others. Senior managers blows smoke up the executives' arses and everyone pretends the ship isn't on fire. If your job isn't related to what numbers the executives 'leaders' can show to the parent company then you're invisible. There is no focus on efficiency or customers, only the bottom line on a power point presentation. The pay is 15-35% lower than market standard for corporate jobs in Seattle, recruiters and managers lie about bonuses. The company does not promote from within or develop employees for growth.

Verathon takes great pride in doing extensive evaluation of our employee packages in comparison to other employers in the area as well as our industry. Through this research, we have found that our compensation and benefits are fair and align with the market data. We also recently implemented annual employee engagement surveys to obtain employee feedback in order to ensure our continued focus on our employees was aligned with their feedback and needs. With our new core set of Values and the increase in our employee engagement, we are pleased to say our attrition metrics are very good and completely align with industry and regional standards.
